| Description / विवरण | This is a broken piece of a pranala, which features carved floral motifs on its side. In Hindu temple architecture, a pranala is an outlet attached to the wall of the sanctum. Its purpose is to discharge the lustral water or other liquids poured over the idols. Pranalas are used to drain out the abhisheka-teertham water, milk, ghee, etc poured over the temple idols. |
