| Description / विवरण | It represents a small nagara style temple architecture which is highly embelished with numerous projections and mouldings at the centre decorated with horizontal geometric patterns. The temple consists two kala makara around the top portion of the architecture. The facial representation of the kala makara include big round eyes, a broad nose, lips and a headgear, the upper portion of the first kala makara is eroded. Just below the kala makara an unidentified figure is sculpted, seems to be sitting on an animal vahana which is unrecognisable due to its erodication. It seems to be holding an object with its left arm and the right arm is placed on the thigh. The architecture is surrounded by different geometric and floral patterns including creepers and horizontal and vertical lines sculpted for decorative designs. The other kala makara carving is highly eroded, it has a visible tongue coming out from its mouth. It also has a circular floral motif above it. There is a socket on top of the structure. |
