| Description / विवरण | |
| Description / विवरण | It is a rectangular-shaped architectural block having shallow sockets and clamp impressions at its top surface, which has embellishing carvings of decorative kirtimukha motifs on two sides of the block. The kirtimukha motifs were very prominently depicted including facial representations with a huge face that has closed bulging eyes along with heavily depicted eyelids, a round tilak at its forehead, bigger and tapered ears, a broader nose, big mustache, prominent teeth and tongue coming out from its mouth. It also has two-lined beaded strings emerging from its mouth, connected with a decorative bell-like structure carved between the motifs. The block has two similar motifs carved on each side of the block. It also has an inverted conical shaped design carved in between the motifs for decoration. |
