Description / विवरण
Description / विवरण The Sati pillar is carved in all four directions and topped with a semi-circular design. A ridge is carved below the top. The sati scene is carved in the middle parts of the pillar. First side contains a scene of three horse-riders having dagger in their hands are shown in fighting posture. On the right side of this scene moon and sun are carved. On the left of this scene a shivlinga with jalahari is carved which is being worshipped by a female devotee. On the fourth side a lady in sleeping posture and a four-armed deity in ardhaparyankasan pose is carved to the left. Above the fighter s scene, there is an inscription in later Devanagari character.
