| Description / विवरण | The pillar fragment is octagonal in shape with an inscription of Brahmi in the first century BCE characters in the middle part recording the gift of Utara and Khalata sons of Achinaka. The inscription reads as follows Acinaka-putana utarasa khalatasa ca thabho. The octagonal shaft rests on a Kumbha with a flared rim and prominent beading each at the neck and near the base. The Kumbha in turn rests on a lotus pedestal below which is the unfinished part. |
