| Description / विवरण | The capital is a magnificent creation of Gupta art, the one with the four addorsid lions, though not so highly polished as much earlier in Ashokan capitals. The four beast on the abacus of Ashokan capitals replaced here by Anthropomorphised forms of the twelve indian signs of the Zodiac. They shown associated with the 12 months, all represented with Abhay mudra and with a pot in left hand. |
