Description / विवरण
Lintel depicted with five panels separated by pilaster motifs. The first one shows a man reclining on his left elbow and surrounded by a fox, serpent and an elephant with its head bent. In the second panel there is a blindfold lady feeding her baby, a rishi standing, a swan swallowing a fish, another rishi holding a chhatra and a man probably doing penance, keeping his body upside down in sirshasana with his legs and hands slightly bent and stretched obliquely. In the third panel are shown Uma Maheswara seated on a pitha and surrounded by rishis and nandi. The fourth panel represents the story of Kiratarjuneeya . The fifth panel shows a male figure who is about to release an arrow against two human beings, one catching hold of the other hanging from a tree. There is an inscription on the top portion.
