| Description / विवरण | Chart of snake & ladder game. It is called Gyan Chaupad. It is drawn on machine made cloth Latha . At the top five compartments are shown enclosed by floral border. The other three compartments contain the figure of god Brahma, Vishnu & Siva, each shown with his spouse seated in compartment, rest of the main portion is divided into two broad divisions which are divided into small squares. 171 squares are shown in each of the two divisions. Snakes & ladders are drawn at various places crossing several squares. Floral border appears all around. |
