| Description / विवरण | Vinte Rupias - Rs. 20 - Portuguese overseas paper currency note Rs.20 - with issue Dt. 29th Nov. 1945 printed on white paper in blue and green Obv Bust of Afonso de Albuqerque, water mark with ship, the legend Ba- nco Nacional Ultramarino and India Portugusea in bold upper character, denomination in Portuguese - Vinte Rupias bold , denomination in verna cular characters - Urdu, Hindi, Gujarati and Kanada in the middle panel, signatures of vice Governor and the Governor on the lower part. Number denomination 20 on the upper right and lower left corner, serial number - 298767 on the upper right and lower left corner. Rev Fleet of ships on the sea, a European lady viewing the ship from a Jetty, decorative panel with Prtuguese emblem and number denomination 20 in bold on the right side, Banco Nacional Ultramarino on top. |
