| Description / विवरण | Trezentos Escudos - Portuguese overseas paper currancy note- Escudos 300 - Dt. 2nd January 1959., Identification - 15.60 cms 7.9 cms Printed on white paper in sky blue, purple, light green and pink. Obv Bust of Afonso de Albuquerque on the lower right side with the legend Banco Nacional Ultramarion, India Portuguesa & the denomination in Portugu- ese TREZENTOS Escudos in bold , Hindu, Devnagari and Urdu, serial number110671 in black on the upper right and lower left side with the signature of vice Governor and Governor.The number denomination 300 is printed on all four corners of the note. Rev Sea motifs- fleet of four ships on sea and a navigator with a scroll in hand on the shore looking towards the ships, Banco Nacional Ultramarino in bold upper character, watermark with a ship on the upper left side,denomination TREZENTOS Escudos on lower right side and number denomination 300 in bold on lower left side. |
