| Description / विवरण | Obverse:- King nimbate, riding caparisoned horse to right, its mane artistically plaited, wearing coat and probably trousers, holding bow in the left hand its upper part being visible just above the neck of the horse. Circular legend partly visible. "Gupt Kul Vyoy Shashi Jayatyajeyo Jit Mahendra". "Jit Mahendra" is near the right hand from 9 to 11. Reverse:- Goddess within dotted border, nimbate, seated on wicker stool to left holding in her right hand a bunch of grapes before the peacock in her front. The bunch is usually shown as hanging from long stalk with one twig on either of its side. Left hand of the goddess rests on waist, holding a lotus with long stalk with leaves and buds. No symbol. Legend on right "Ajita Mahendrah". |
