| Description / विवरण | An indo Shithian copper coin, circular Obverse Embossed beautiful head with neck, curly hairs with beared is seen, beautiful nose, eyes and lips with clear details are visible. Reverse An angry lion with long tail and stout for and back legs are moving towards right, open mouth and mane is very clear. In the center of lion a male figure is seen in standing position with left hand having lion skin where as right arm is damaged due to corrosion. It may be a figure of heraclig. Traces of Indo Greek lehers are seen on the borders. Note It is one of the variety of Indo-Shithian King Maos as described on page 133 of Bharat ke purvkalik sikke by Dr. Parmeshwari Lal Gupta. |
