| Description / विवरण | Obverse:- King standing left, wearing coat,trousers, holding in left hand standard adorned with fillet and offering oblations on altar by right hand. Here the altar looks like a Tulsi Vrindavana with a plant. Behind the altar is a Garuda standard adorned with fillets. Brahmi legend "Samudra" vertically written under left arm. Circular legend ‘Samarsat…". Reverse:- Goddess Lakshmi, nimbate, seated facing front on throne, wearing Sari, upper garment (dupatta) covering both arms, circular pearl ornament round the head, earrings, necklace and armlets, holding a noose in right hand which is outstretched and a cornucopias in the left. Her feet rest on a circular mat. Border of dots. Symbol seen. Brahmi legend "Parakramah" on the right. |
