| Description / विवरण | Howdah made of wooden and covered with woolen cloth having front and rear seats and both having separate conical roofs topped by brass pinnacle. There are totally eight silver makudams (holders). The canopy is having a hanging torana of brass leaves and beads made of semiprecious stones. The royal emblem of Cochin state is embedded in the front faced of the canopy. The Howdah is with iron chains which were used to be tied on to the elephant. |
