| Description / विवरण | This is a sculptured fragment depicting side profile of a squatting elephant in relief.The prominent forehead, obliquely arranged eye,curved trunk, comparatively small ear,tusk with broken tip are some of the noteworthy features.It is decorated with a ornamental garland around the neck.Belly and legs are sqeezed in the middle.The whole composition is artistically presented and may be ascribed to early chalukyan period. |
