| Description / विवरण | The Pillar is divided into three panels by means of three railing motifs. The bottom panel contains a single stylished honey-suckule flower issuing from the half rosette. The middle panel is filled with the figure of a standing winged lion shown in profile. The lion has a human face with big pointed ears and a raised upturned tail. The topmost panel has a beautiful dharmachakra placed on a tiered pedestal. The pedestal consist of a rectangular base on which is kept a tiered asana with a curved tiers of increasing width so as to accommodate the curved edge of the chakra. From the sides of the pedestal issue serpent-hood-like petals of the stylished nagapushpa with the tips curved inwards. The outer edge of the broad rim of the chakra is decorated with a motif which looks like triratnas while the inner edge is decorated with a bead placed in between the spokes. |
