| Description / विवरण | This is part of a scupture of a seated male diety. The extant portion depicts folded right leg and lower part of pot belly.On the extant belly portion, four stringed upavita and circular navel is discernible.The right leg folded at knee is devoid of fingers of foot and bead designed ornaments such as nupura and padasaras decorate the leg. The lower garment is shown and the damaged frills at the centre rests between the legs.In the absense of limbs and iconographical attributes the diety cannot be identified. However on the basis of style this fragment may be ascribed to late-chalukyan period. |
