| Description / विवरण | Present image of Uma-Mahesh is in alinganmudra. In this four armed image the lower right hand of Shiva is broken while in his upper left hand Shiva is holding an indistinct object. In his upper left hand Shiva is holding a snake and by his lower left hand he is embracing Uma. Uma by her upper right hand is embracing Shiva while by her upper left hand Uma is holding a mirror. Shiva is sitting in ardhparyankasan while Parvati is seated in Shiva s lap. Both Shiva and Uma is wearing karand mukut. Other ornaments are long necklace, stansutra etc. On the bottom of the image vrishabha is depicted. |
