| Description / विवरण | The four armed image of Bhairava is depicted in walking posture along with his vahana dog who is shown drinking the blood. Bhairava holds the damaru with upper right hand while the lower right hand is in katihasta-mudra. A shallow bowl is held in his upper left hand and the skull kapala is being carried by the the god with the lower left hand. Bhairava has kuntala hair style and wears kundala, sarpahara, katimekhala, kativastra, mundamala, keyura, valaya and the nupura. On the right side of the peetha is a devotee and on the left side the vahana dog is depicted. |
