| Description / विवरण | The Jain Tirthankara is seated in padmasana mudra on a Pitha. His body appears to be motionless with half closed eyes which show a beautiful meditative expression. The right hand is place over the left hand with the palm upward on his lap. His curly hair has Usnisa over his head. Srivatsa symbol is visible on the chest. The image pedestal has no inscription. On iconographic grounds it can be ascribed to 19th century AD. His Lanchhan is absent on the Pitha.The image is identified as jain tirthankara on the basis of art style. |
