| Description / विवरण | The Jain Tirthankara is seated in padmasana mudra on a Pitha.His body appears to be motionless with half closed eyes which show a beautiful meditative expression.The right hand place over the left hand with the palm upward on his lap.His curly hair has Unisa over his head. Above his head chhatra is shown.The figure of a standing Camardhari is depicted on either near his legs.Srivatsa symbol is visible on the chest.The image pedestal has no inscription.On iconographic grounds it can be ascribed to 12th century AD.His Lanchhan is absent on the pitha.The image is identified as jain tirthankara on the basis of art style. |
