| Description / विवरण | The Jain Tirthankara is seated in padmasana mudra on a Pitha. His body is erect and appear to be motionless with half close eyes which show a beautiful meditative expression. The right hand is place over the left hand with the palm upward on his lap. Jina figure are depicted on either side of deity.Srivatsa symbol is visible on the chest.The image pedestal has no inscription, but on iconographic ground it can be ascribed to 12th century AD. His Lanchhan emblem is absent on the Pitha. Sculpture is identified as Jain Tirthankara on the basis of art style. |
