| Description / विवरण | Standing Vishnu with 4 hands. Disproportionate figure. Head dress is Karandamakuta. Sharp, pointed and angular eyes, with thick wide nose. There is a parasol in three strands flowing on either side. The two rear hands hold sankha and chakra. The front right hand is in abhaya-mudra, holding in the middle of the stalk of a flower, the left lower rests on the mace. Ornaments comprise patrakundalas, necklace and garland with pendents, bhuja kirtis, keyuras, armlets and anklets. The lower part is decked with purnoruka with three strands and a central tassel. The image is encircled all around by a prabhavali with makara torana motif on the top in the centre. |
