| Description / विवरण | Surya standing with a halo around. The two arms hold two flower buds having long stalks. The image seems to be disproportionate, the torso and face are long, while the legs are shown short. The head is adorned with Kiritarmakuta which has a thick band around, above the forehead. Ornaments include a Kantamala necklace , Yajnopavita and udarabandha, It is decorated with katimala, armlets and anklets. The drapery seems to be ardhoruka i.e. above the lions with a long folded tassel in between the legs. The god is flanked by attendants. |
