| Description / विवरण | Kartikeya seated on a peacock. Due to weathering action details are eroded. However, faint outlines delineate he is three faced and he has four arms and one of the left arm is missing.As the details are worn out exact attributes held in the hands is no discernible except that in the left lower hand he is shown holding a phala . He appears to be decorated with ornaments such as karna kundala, vakshahara, and wears lower garments below the narrow trunk. He is shown resting and turning his body in a frontal posture on the back of a peacock which is obliterated. The sculpture is sylistically ascribed to the late chalukyan period. |
