| Description / विवरण | This is a sculpture of a female figure with deep chisel mark indicating its unfinished status.The outline of the image indicates she is standing in almost tribhanga. Her right foot is placed firmly on the ground and left leg is bent at the knee. She wears a crownand attired in a antariya with the plaits suspended from the centre between the legs.She is two armed and carries probably flower in her left hand whereas the right hand dangles in a graceful posture. The sculpture in two parts is subsequently mended. On stylistic grounds this sculpture may be ascribed to vijayanagara period. |
