| Description / विवरण | The Jain Tirthankara is seated in padmasana mudra on a Pitha. His body appear to be motionless with half close eyes which show a meditative expression. The right hand is place over the left hand with the palm upward on his lap. Srivatsa symbol is visible on the chest. It has an inscription of three lines but it is not satisfactorily read out. On inscriptional and iconographic grounds it can be ascribed to 16th century AD. His Lanchhan emblem is absent on the Pitha.Sculpture is identified as Jain Tirthankara on the basis of art style. |
