| Description / विवरण | The 24th Jain Tirthankara Mahvira is seated in padmasana mudra on a Pitha. His body appears to be motionless with half closed eyes which show a beautiful meditative expression. The right hand is place over the left hand with the palm upward on his lap. His curly hair has Usnisa over his head. Srivatsa symbol is visible on the chest.The image pedestal has an inscription of two lines on the pitha,it mention the name of donor as Golapoorab gotra jain group, village papora. His Lanchhan emblem Lion is sculpture at the Pitha. |
