| Description / विवरण | The 23rd jain tirthankara Parshvanatha is seated in padamasana mudra on a pitha. He has seven serpent hood over his head which is broken.His body is appear to be motionless and half close eyes which show a beautiful meditative expresion.His curly hair has a usnisa over his head.The right hand placed over the left hand with the palm upward on his lap. Srivatsa symble is visible on the chest.The image pedestal has no inscription.On iconographic grounds it can be ascribed of 14th century AD. The image is idetified as the jain tirthankara on the basis of art style. |
