| Description / विवरण | The sculpture represents, the figure of a Acrobatic dancer. Her left hand raised upward bents down from the elbow. A pot is balanced on the elbow. The pot has stamped design. Her right hand is freely bent and rests on the waist. She is alorned with Kundala, bangles, necklace. She wears a loose lower garment. Her upper garment is rolled and suspended from her mekhala to form loops cover her personal part. Part of her hair is cut and dressed in the form of a flower amidst two leaves over the middle of her forehead. The rest of her hair is combed back and allowed to hand down is secured with three ornamental ring clips. At the railing like balcony a young man a lady from the window of their house is shown as if watching the dancing lady. The acquatic animal makara Crocodile is depicted with curled tail and wide open mouth. The back is decorated with lotus medallions. |
