| Description / विवरण | The depiction of erotic subjects on various parts of temples is found in different regions of the country particularly during the medieaval period.In this sculpture a dwarf male figure standing in samabhanga is shown keeping the right hand with folded fist on the chest whereas the left hand is covering the private part.Hair do indicates a round tuft to right and he has a long ear.Details on his face is eroded.He is decked with kankana and wears lower garment.He has pot belly and muscles of limbs are thick and round. On stylistic grounds this image may be ascribed to vijayanagara period. |
