| Description / विवरण | This is part of an pilaster having series of mouldings and horizontal floral design. The front face of the block contains five vertical foldings with a broad central projection.The damaged topmost moulding is followed by a slender kapota offset and below this is a thick sala motif with lotus petalled base resting on triangular sectioned thin moulding followed by rectangular projected pattika decorated with scroll design resting on simple narrow mouldings at the bottom.Such pilasters are commonly found abutting the interior walls in temples of late-chalukyan period. |
