| Description / विवरण | This is sculpture of a two handed female diety standing in tribhanga.The figure is in a weathred condition and both the legs below ankle is missing.Nose is damaged.Her braided hair is held by a semicircular band beyond the forehead. The halo behind the back of head is decorated with large bead like design. She is adorned with ornaments such as karnakundalas and vakshahara.She wears a antariya held by a katibandha and the plaits suspends between the legs.She carries flower in her right hand and a citrus fruit in her left hand respectively.Faint outline of eyes,nose and lips are noteworthy. On stylistic grounds this fragment may be ascribed to late- chalukyan period. |
