| Description / विवरण | This extant sculptural fragment depicts hood portion of entwined Naga-Nagini in relief.Naga has five hoods whereas Nagini is shown with single hood.Due to weathering action details are eroded.However faint outline of serpent head and inner foldings of each hood is discernible.The lower part of the relief is missing.On stylistic grounds this relief may be ascribed to early-chalukyan period. |
