| Description / विवरण | Ten armed, three eyed and standing in the conventional alidha pose with the left foot on the servered buffalo and the right foot on the back of the stylized lion of typically late medieval vintage, the devi is flanked by a four armed Ganesa on Musika on her right and mono-cephalic two armed Kartikeya on peacock on her left. The audhas on the Devi s hand are from lower right hand upwords trisula, sakti bana, chakra and Khadga and on the left hand in similar order lock of the demon s hair, Parasu , ankusa , dhanu and khetaka. On her head, which is adorned with a late period mukuta instead of ajata, is the crescent moon. The rim of the prabhavali, which is partly broken, is adorned with spiral motifs. The demon stands with his legs flexed and the right right knee on the ground holding a khadga in his two hands and the lion bitings his right elbow. The hooded serpent of the Devi coils round the Asura s neck with its hood reared in front of his face. The image is slightly mutilated. |
