| Description / विवरण | This is a seated Nandi Bull the celestial vehicle of god shivaThis bull is shown seated folding its two front legs backward whereas the hind legs merge with the back portion.It has a prominent hump, ears are folded sideways and the eyes are arranged obliquily.The protruded short horns are arranged slightly sideways on the head. A rope designed garland with a bell hanging at the bottom of the neck is provided.Seated on a pedastal its head is turned to right.The face of bull is mended recently.May be ascribed to early-chalukyan period on stylic grounds.. |
