| Description / विवरण | Siva represented as Umasahitamurti with consort Parvati seated to his left on the lap. The God Siva seated in cross legged with head adorned with jatamakuta while that of Devi is Karanda shaped with serpent hood above. The right rear hand of Siva holds a trident while his left rear hand passes around Devi s head from behind. The front right hand is in Varada-mudra while the left hand embraces consort from behind. The left knee rests on the back of the apasmarapurusha below. Ornamentation includes Kanthamala, udarabandha, yajnopavita, keyuras and armlets. |
