Description / विवरण | The complex manifestation of Vishnu, known as Vaikuntha vishnu since the seventh-century Vishnudharmottarapurana, features a Trimurti aspect with three faces. Positioned on the right is the head of a lion, and on the left is a boar s head, while in the centre is a human head. This form is also recognized as Para-Vasudeva, signifying the highest deity. The lion and boar heads symbolize Vishnu s Varaha and Narasimha avatars. The Vishnu is shown with 8 hands, all are broken. The lower part of the sculpture is broken. It is well ornamented. |
