| Description / विवरण | Image of lord Buddha carved on a heavy stone slab seated in Dhyan mudra on a double petalled lotus seat. The Buddha image is very badly damaged and the head is chopped off. The Buddha image is flanked by an attendant on each side standing in tribhanga mudra on a lotus platform. the right-side attendant is headless and badly mutilated. Only a staff-like object held by the right hand is visible. the left-side attendant is holding a lotus flower stalk in his left hand and the right hand is probably in Varada mudra which is damaged. It has an Ajna (deer skin) over its left shoulder and a small Dhyanibuddha figure in front of its Jatamukuta and a round halo behind its head. below the lotus seat at the bottom lotus flower design are carved with a pair of devotee holding a staff-like object in the centre. The halo including the upper portion of the stone slab behind the Buddha image and the right side attendant is chopped off. |
