Description / विवरण | |
Description / विवरण | This is an elongated stone block found at the Deoparvat archaeological site, which shows a unique representation of flora. The sculptural block shows a lovely scene of lotus with long stalks, and leaves placed in an interlacing pattern, which is like a creeper motif. In the middle part of stone block lotus is depicted with seven Patels. The Lotus petal designs were used as decorative borders on pillars, door jambs, lintels, and other architectural elements at the Deoparvat archaeological site. |
