Description / विवरण | The sculpture represents a male figure in dancing posture standing on the pedestal, both its feets facing rightward direction. The figure is playing a large damaru tied up with its left hand and beating it with its right hand. The facial representation of the figure include an eroded round tilak mark on its forehead, a prominent nose, lips, a moustache, long earlobes, it also has highly eroded beard reaching its chest and eroded opened eyes. The figure has prominent fingers, toes and a niple on its right chest. It is adorned with an ornamented head-gear (eroded and broken), longer kundalas and big karna puspa on the both the ears (karna puspa on the left ear is eroded). The figure is also wearing ornamented kankana on both its wrist and a kayabandhi. |
