Description / विवरण | |
Description / विवरण | This is a dancing image of two vidyadharas facing in opposite directions in between pilasters with horizontal floral motif borders. Both figures are minutely carved out within a narrow circular frame in which each circle is flanked by adjacent pillars. The figures are depicted in atibhanga posture. Each dancer carries a sword in one hand, which touches the toe of the leg, and a shield in the other hand. Both the figures are adorned with the same ornaments like disc-shaped kundala, hara, bala and girdle. They are garland weavers, live in the sky with kinnaras, and frequently carry flowers, garlands, swords, or staff. |
