Description / विवरण | In the image goddess Lakshmi is depicted in ardhaparyanka asana. Goddess Lakshmi is the consort of god Vishnu. In Hindu mythology she is the goddess of wealth, purity, prosperity and the embodiment of beauty, grace and charm. She is holding a lotus on the right hand and a pot on the other with a pleasant smiling face. The figure of Lakshmi has an aura of divine beauty pertaining to some celestial qualities. the image of the goddess exposes curvaceous breasts and a sensitive navel, which reveals her femininity. The figure of Lakshmi is seminude as her upper body is not covered and her lower body is wrapped with a lond drapery. She adorned with karnakundala, hara, mukuta, vanamala, girdle and bala. |
