Description / विवरण | |
Description / विवरण | Two divine human figures in different postures are illustrated on two sides of the block stone. The first side shows a figure in a standing posture spending leisure time. The hand gesture indicates that he engages in indistinct activity. The figure also wears pair of round Kundalas in ears, standing on a lotus pedestal. The neck part of the body is decorated with ornaments. On the other surface, one of the human figure is dancing atop a lotus pedestal. Each part of the body is decorated with ornaments. Of the two hands, left hand holds indistinct musical instrument and right hand is mutilated. His hair is styled in a flying wave on the back side, and the figure s belly is delicately carved. The headband is embellished with pearl lines. In this representation, one knee is resting on the lotus base. The figure performs a highly rhythmic dance while he has folded the right leg and the left leg, which are shown balanced on the lotus. The dancing figure is beautified by some essential elements like tiaras on heads, round tilak marks on the forehead, round patra-kundalas in the ears, and numbers of necklaces that are minutely carved out. |
