| Description / विवरण | It is a female figurine carved on a coarse-grained granite boulder. The figurine is standing in a Samabhanga posture where she has placed the entire weight of the body onto her left hip. She is shown holding an unknown spherical ayudha (attribute) held closer to the chest area. The left hand is at her side but the palm is found to be missing. She is shown with square-shaped face, prominent lips and normal eyebrows. She is wearing a tilak on her forehead. She is adorned with circular earrings (Kundalas), necklace (Kanthabhushana) covering her torso. A jewelled spiked headgear (Sirobhushana) on the head and bracelets (Kankana) on either side of the arms of the figurine is distinctly visible. Her hair is loosely hanging behind her ears. The relief is diagonally broken hence, the ankles are not to be found. She is seen wearing a garment whose outline of the hem is intricately carved along the sides of her legs. The loose ends of her garment is seen waving in S-shaped pattern from behind. She is seen adorned with a garland that reaches her thighs. The ornamented girdle is prominent along with the Antariya. |
