Description / विवरण | This is a mutilated temple sculpture of a female attendant(Naga) in a Namaskara-mudra.The figure depicts a half-human and half-serpent being,with the upper half of the body resembling human and lower half resembling snake or serpent. According to the myth, this composite figure is regarded as the door guardian of the treasurers. |
