| Description / विवरण | This is a stone image of Dwarpala with his two attendants who act as guards at doorways. This block of stone has carvings of three figrunes, one is female and the other two are male. Among the three figurines the one in the centre is carved in between two ornate pilasters in dvibhanga posture and in his right hand, probably holds object which is not distinct and the left hand is mutilated. The female attendant on the right side of the central figure is seen in tribhanga posture. the right hand of the woman is raised upward resting on her head but the left hand is mutilated. she is adorned with ornaments like kundala, bala, hara and girdle. The male attendant on the left side of the central figure is shown in sitting position but the figure is in mutilated condition. At the top of the stone block a small panel of five human figures can be seen which are indistinct. |
