Description / विवरण | |
Description / विवरण | It is a broken and heavily weathered sculpture of two unknown figurines in a low relief. The stele is found to be still intact with a slightly elevated platform. The sculpture is carved out of a coarse-grained granite block. The figure on the left is shown in a pleading state with his hands folded while his head is bowing behind the other image. It is adorned with circular kundalas, and bangles (Kankana) on both the lower part of the arms. The Antariya is visibly dangling in between the thighs. Pieces of stylized fabric are seen to be waving in the air. The upper part from chest to head of the other figure is completely broken. Upon observation, one could find that the figure on the right side is forcibly dragging the other one. Its left hand is prominently raised from behind the defenceless figure. |
