Description / विवरण | It is a sculpture of a female figurine in a low relief carvd out of a granite stone. The figurine is standing in a Samabhanga posture with putting the entire weight of the body on the right leg. She has prominent facial features with a snub nose, sharp jaw-line, and a wide smile. She is shown wearing a tilak on the forehead, an unadorned spherical headgear, circular kundalas, hara (necklace), and kankana covering the lower arms of both her hands.A stylized girdle is visible around the waist and the Antariya is dangling in between the thighs. Pieces of stylized fabric from the garment is shown to be hanging loosely at the back. Stylized hair is shown to be waving in the air. The feet of the image is deteriorated due to weathering. She is holding an unknown ayudha with her left hand and the right hand is seen folded closer to the chest gesturing Mukula mudra. |
