Description / विवरण | This is a mutilated figurine of Lakshmi. The figurine is closely associated with the Lakshmi because she holds a fully bloomed lotus in her left hand. The right hand is broken and missing. The figure is sitting on bloom Lotus in padmasana attitude. The cloth is absent from her upper body, but the ornaments cover her nudity. The figure wears a short kiritamukuta on top of the head. Further, the figure is beautified by some essential elements, like the elongated tilak mark on her forehead and the circular puspa-kundalas in her ears. |
